Create a Project

A project maps to a single product, app, or section. Each project gets its own widget, API keys, feedback inbox, and analytics.

When to create separate projects

• Multiple products in your organization (e.g. your main app vs. a CLI tool)
• Staging vs. production environments where you want separate data
• Distinct sections with separate teams (e.g. mobile app vs. web app)

You don't need separate projects for feature areas — use tags and custom fields to organize feedback within a single project.

Steps

1. From the dashboard sidebar, click + New Project
2. Enter a name (e.g. Web App, Mobile, API)
3. Choose a color and icon for easy identification
4. Click Create
